Who the hell is that dickhead "SSFrontSoldat"? Not only is his post in FJ a total load of shit but, all of his previous ones too? I reckon he's spent some time with cock company at a gunman circle jerk :ghey:.

Sounds like it - and now he is asking a 'stich nazi' question about a jump smock as he is a reenactor. :slap:

Well, I didn't resist for long!

Also, he edited his original post, which I have just restored and locked, to avoid any confusion and, also, so it doesn't look like a mod' stomp.

I don't think English is his first language, he has a 'Google translation' air about him.
Meh, at least he lightened an otherwise dull day on the forum. Apart from Yith's Browning gaff. :giggle:

Well, there goes the first cancelled event of the season: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=11772

Not a surprise.

But he's going to take a leaf out of Gunman's book and run Operations Weekends!?!??! :slap:

Am I alone in thinking that Mcvickers is a bit of a t-wat? I've noticed lately, that he posts a lot of utter bollocks and seems mainly concerned with pushing up his post count in the lurkers and o/t sections! Also, he's never been to a proper CiA event, yet is always posting shite on our game threads! Or, am I just a cynical old git? :giggle:

Yes McV travels all over the place to shows and car boots to buy stuff and do Gunman games but he has only managed to do one non-Gunman game - Webby's Pocket.
Meh, he has a pony tail - nuff said.

Convo from a while back:

Hello Chommers,
I've only just realised; that seeing as the first Gunman D-Day game was run in coalition with CiA, and it's listed as a 'CiA game', does that mean I can claim my CiA card and associated 'forum rights'?
Cheers,
Rob (aka McVickers)

Hi Rob
I'm afraid not - we promoted D-Day for Josh and had some input on rules and gameplay and ran the German side but this was Josh's baby - he got all the money (and expenses), organised the props, staff and site and took all the risk.
The eligible games are here: http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/wp/reference/comrades-in-arms-membership/
Heh, we have run 13 events now - it would be great to see you at one soon!
cheers
David

Hello David,
Ah well, that's a shame - I'll have to keep trying to get to one!
I don't know how, but they've always fallen on dates that weren't available in my diary, or clashed with other airsoft events
I'm glad I made it to Webby's "In the Pocket", that was a great game and allowed me to meet loads of the forum members who don't make it to Gunman games. Thankfully Webby's "In The Pocket" game used different parts of "Airsoft Skirmish Woodland"'s site, to the parts that Josh chose to use for his "Road To Caen" game, and so felt like two different sites!
Hope to see you in the filed again some time soon!
Rob

Ah, as I thought, he IS a t-wat! He said he was coming to "Milton Hall" but, went silent as the day got closer. His "Vickers" is shit as well, unless it's improved dramatically since D-day.

Just saw this on the ghost town of a pbi forum, posted by that model of emotional stability, scaleyback. I wonder how many others actually put themselves forward? :giggle:

PBI are THE best ww2 airsoft group in the UK..
just had a phone call from stuart humphries.. i entered PBI in the ww2 reenacting magazine " best ww2 airsoft group" catagory..

AND WE ARE THE WINNERS!!!!!!!

now.... who can get to the war and peace show to pic up our cert and award?

What a dick.

Twat. They nominated themselves and Gadge writes for Stuart? What a stich up!

Heh, we won AI's award and we didn't even know anything about it!

BTW, in my convo with Webby he told me that at the last Crich event, where they teamed up with another group, the other guys took a leading role and Gadge was so miffed he had been displaced he hid away with a bad back the whole time. No wonder he has lost all interest in PBI reenactment as well as airsoft. And Nige is just seeking out new 'mates' as PBI members drift away...

I've already wound Scaleyback up about it on Facebook. Seems like he thought me asking if Gadge was still working for ww2 re-enactment mag might have alluded to some nepotism on the behalf of PBI. I didn't mean it that way, but obviously he has a guilty conscience.

As to the Ai one, just shows how much I pay attention to anything that isn't my work....

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Jay - could you let us know what is in the magazine article and what exactly the award was - we could do with publicising this, if only to stick two fingers up at Nige!

God, that really is shit quality. It's bottom right of that image. "Game of the Year - WW2" and give us the award for various games.

That's the current issue.
